The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in an increased rate of unemployment world wide, especially since most companies had to suspend work due to the global lock down.

However there are some companies that are interested in recruiting workers for some positions during this pandemic.  You might just want to send in your application letter.

Here is a list of companies looking forward to recruit candidates regardless of the pandemic.

 

  1. MICROSOFT

Microsoft company centres on developing, creating, licensing supports, and selling computer software. They also sell consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services.

The company is interested in recruiting workers during this pandemic.

Microsoft has it’s headquarters at 6th Floor, Civic Towers, Ozumba Mbadiwe Ave, Victoria Island, Lagos.

2. ERICSSON NIGERIA

The international telecommunication company, Ericsson focuses on manufacturing software and infrastructure in ICT.

The company was founded by Lars Magnus Ericsson in 1876 and it now has 27% share in the 2G/3G/4G mobile network market.

Ericsson is has positions to fill and is seeking to recruit candidates with vision.

 

3. SAVE THE CHILDREN

The NGO organisation, Save the Children dates back to 1919, where it was founded in the United Kingdom.

They work with the aim to help the poor by providing food, education and health services to them.

Save the children is recruiting candidates who have the same vision and will work to help them achieve more especially in this Coronavirus pandemic period.

4. JUMIA

Jumia started in Lagos, Nigeria in 2012. But it is now a multinational firm with branches in five other countries: Egypt, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Kenya and South Africa.

Jumia is the most shopped online shopping sites in Nigeria. Thus, bagging the award of the best online retail brand of the year.

They are seeking to recruit candidates who can work with them during this pandemic.

 

5. AIRTEL

Bharti Airtel : the Indian telecommunication firm which was founded on 7 July 1995, by Sunil Bharti Mittal,  provides service in 18 countries.

Airtel has 14,818 employees worldwide, and is still looking forward to recruit more people into their work force.

 

6. ACTION AGAINST HUNGER

Action Against Hunger : the non-profit organisation which dates back to 1979 when it was founded, has been operating in Nigeria since 2010.

Their aim is to meet humanitarian needs, as they provide health and nutrition programs.

Action against hunger is seeking to recruit people with the same drive who will help them achieve more success.

7. GOOGLE

 

Google has over 114,096 employees worldwide and is still recruiting in this pandemic.

The multinational company offers online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware services.

The Google Nigeria has it’s office at 39 Alfred Rewane Rd, Ikoyi, Lagos.
