N-Power: Free Registration For Kebbi Applicants

The Kebbi State Governor, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu has approved the beginning of free registration for the Federal Government’s N-Power Programme for unemployed Youths present in the State.

The Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Dr Abba Sani-Kalgo disclosed this on Sunday in Birnin Kebbi.

He said that the free N-Power registration programme would commence on the 6th of July at all designated centres in all the local government areas and four emirate headquarters of the state.

Sani-Kalgo pointed that the applicants from Birnin Kebbi would be registered at the Emir of Gwandu’s Palace – Alhaji Muhammadu Bashir and the ICT Centre of the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.

In his words, “Kebbi’s Ministry of Budget and Planning is calling on the Youths of the State interested in the ongoing N-Power programme to hurry up and enrol for free registration and additional information on the programme at the centres throughout the state.

“The registration is to commence on 6th July, 2020 throughout the approved centres. Interested Youths to come with their BVN credentials and valid identity cards”

“They are also requested to come along  with theo original copies of their certificates and other required documents for capturing and subsequent forwarding, via the internet, to the N-Power Programme headquarters”

Whilst urging all those coming for the registration to wear their face masks, maintain social and physical distancing at the registration centres.

The Commissioner implored applicants to take advantage of this golden opportunity to get registered for the programme.

He thanked the Governor of the State for his constant invaluable support to the ministry in ensuring free services for the applicants.

Because of his concern for the development and empowerment of the youths in the state the Governor directed that the exercise be carried out free of charge throughout the state,” the Commissioner.
