Job Title: Community Liaison Office Assistant (CLO Assistant) – Employees of Mission
The position of the Community Liaison Office Assistant is open to the public for application. The job’s hiring agency is the Abuja embassy and the job location is at Abuja.
Duties of Community Liaison Office Coordinator
The duties of the Community Liaison Office Coordinator includes; serving all USG employees and the family members stationed at Post;
Helping the CLO Coordinator in developing and coordinating post programs in order to keep up with the high morale of community members;
Should have at least one (1) year of secretarial and administrative;
Should have comprehensive knowledge of secretarial and office management procedures as practiced by the U.S. Mission Nigeria;
Should have completed Secondary School or received high school diploma;
Should be fluent in English;
Should be conversant with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, use of PC, and be able to type 40 wpm.

2. Job Title: Economic Assistant
The position of an economic assistant is open to the public for application. The hiring agency is the Consulate General Lagos and the job location is at Lagos.
Responsibilities of an economic assistant
The responsibilities of the economic officer is to assist the officers of the Political and Economic Section at the Consulate General Lagos in taking up their roles by helping out with contacts and appointments, providing background information and carrying out assigned researches on issues related to the ESTH (Environment, Science, Technology & Health). He / she should also be able to notify officers of updates and developments of potential interest to the United States.
To be eligible for this post, applicants should have (3) years professional experience in project management, research, analysis, and reporting is required. Applicants should also have a comprehensive knowledge on topics related to Environment, Science, Technology, and Health in Nigeria.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies, Urban Planning, Health, Public Administration, or Conservation.

Job Title: Registered Nurse (Employee of the Mission-All / or USEFMs, EFMs, or MOHs)
The post of a registered nurse is open to the public for application at the US mission to Nigeria. The hiring agency is the Abuja embassy and the job location is Abuja.
The duty of the registered nurse is to serve as the post’s nurse. Responsibilities includes; offering medical care to the Mission employees and qualified family members under MED approved clinical guidelines;
Maintaining and keeping account of all medical equipment and supplies;
Should be able to plan vaccination program, to administer health education programs to individuals and groups;
Applicants should have at least two (2) years of post-qualification work as a professional nurse;
should be able to understand MED’s policies and procedures regarding medical evacuations, hospitalizations, and insurance reimbursement methodology;
Should have Degree (RN Level) in Nursing or Diploma/Certificate equivalent from an accredited School of Nursing alongside a valid nursing license or a current unrestricted Registered Nursing license from Nigeria, country of origin, or the U.S.
Skills And Abilities:
Should have basic computer skills and be conversant with the use of Microsoft word;
Should have savvy interpersonal skills and a client-oriented disposition that can take care of complex interactive challenges in cases of difficult and emotional situations.

However for EFMs, benefits should be talked through with the Human Resources Office.
Payment plan would be assigned during the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
